- In the long run, or even medium run in some places, western car companies are going to have to compete against stuff like this.
- When I went to China, I had a moonshot goal: see BYD's five-minute "Megawatt" EV charging for myself. This took some doing. But @insideevs.com is the first Western outlet to see and experience this, and it is a game-changer for charging: www.youtube.com/watch?v=usUx...
- Paradigm shift. For anyone still thinking that China is only good at producing cheaper and lower-quality goods, the superiority of the EVs developed there is mind blowing. US and European auto mfrs are miles behind in the race to produce the next generation of cars.

- As an EV driver since 16 I remember in the not so distant past scheduling long meetings around waiting for my car to charge or scouting out stations near restaurants or runs to kill time. With the rapid advancements in charging it feels like we’re reaching the as convenient as gassing-up threshold

- After visiting China, all I can think is: why CAN'T I buy a car when I go to the mall? insideevs.com/news/758763/...
- Are malls popular in China? Most malls in the US are empty but I have seen a Tesla store at a mall before.

- We’re dropping a new story each day this week. A wide range of work from Viet writers, with accompanying work by a Viet illustrator, and even a Viet fact checker!
- This looks incredible: @theverge.com is running a series of stories on the legacy of the Vietnam War, 50 years after the fall of Saigon.
