If believing men cannot become women is bigotted, this wouldn't have been a thing until like ten minutes ago. For the entirety of humanity this was common sense until those that prosper on the "under respresented" needed a new group to promote.

Yet, we all know it as fact.
What happens if the government decides goatees are not allowed because they are too similar to the facial hair of Lucifer in pop culture, or decide your favorite type of shirt is too feminine? It’s a dangerous power to give to government.
The government should not stop people from making bad choices, I agree. As long as those choices do not infringe on another person's individual rights.
For most of humanity we didn’t have the capability to change our biology at will. The better question is, are you comfortable with giving the government the power to decide acceptable manners of dress and physical appearance, based on perceived sex at birth which isn’t necessarily accurate.
You still cannot change your biology at will. There is no surgery or procedure or shit that will make him a female. He will be a mutilate male that has physical characteristics of a female, but never female.
