I'm curious:
Have air traffic control systems just begun to regularly fail - presumably because of Trump maladministration - or has it just become a matter of national concern/media interest?
My bias is to assume that this is a consequence of DOGE firings and Trumpian incompetence, but I don't know what data is (or where it would be).
Researchers found that a majority of English majors at two universities in 2015 could not functionally understand passages from Charles Dickens.
which does validate my ever-growing concern about how a lot of people who use text-based social media appear to be unable to read

'Bleak' seems about right
An interesting take on a fairly depressing study about English majors' reading abilities. Spoiler: most can't read.

I haven't encountered this usage before, but "the well of the court" seems to also refer to the "court" space of a courtroom

I think enterprising journalists need to start investigating the nature and amount of "gifts" Mr. Lipton receives; there appears to be an implicit quid pro quo
Corruption requires explict quid pro quo. It is not corrupt to take an action that aligns with the interest of a person who gives you a gift, unless the official action was in direct response to that gift--a bribe. Terms matter. Accuracy and fairness matters. Regardless of what social media wants.
Seriously, I would be embarrassed. You'd think Lipton would parse basic concepts correctly in a pompous tweet about the importance of accuracy.
It's the sort of confused thinking that is suggestive of guilt
He’s gonna run again, I think it’s pretty clear.
Yes, I'm pissed about the jumbo jet too. But this is actually the most important story today.

He seems like such a nice well spoken young man.
The only electoral problem with Buttigieg I see is that I really like him, which is a negative indicator
I think he’s probably got a really solid shot. He’s got a combination of calm and fire that’s hard to match that I think will serve him well.
Boomers eat out of his hands.
beard was good choice. levels him up considerably. in this way and in absolutely no other JD Vance has a set a positive precedent.

State Farm has lost tens of billions of dollars in the last three years, and not because of poor customer service
Fundamentally, an insurance company won't stay in business unless premiums cover payouts
