You would have to be pretty ignorant about Jefferson not to at least suspect that this was fake. Jefferson notoriously attracted criticism for declining to issue public proclamarions calling for prayer during his presidency, beliving they improperly entangled government and religion.
One thing you’ll notice if you dig around at all is that Christian nationalists absolutely love fabricating bogus quotations from Founders, which they’re more or less forced to do given how inconvenient most of their real views on the subject were.
