Thank you for saying nice things, and I can confirm the premise: If you pay your staff well, and you allow them to do what they're great at, it works better than chasing algorithms. The art is better, the truth is found easier, and—bonus!—the revenue is better.
- Hey @rocketlabusa.com, let's get Sir Peter Beck over here on bsky too 😄 I appreciate the increase in messaging parity from the main account!

This is a new high resolution 3D model of the Mont Mercou outcrop in Gale crater, that I made during my recent internship at LPG Nantes. #planetsci 🧵

- @planetsidemarco.bsky.social @pixelpusher84.bsky.social Hey, sorry to bother you, but any chance you can push to have Rocket Lab create parity in the messaging between Twitter and here?
- This is the article I've been meaning to write (more poorly) myself for months, so it looks like my procrastination has paid off because now I can just point friends to this instead 😛 Great write-up by @fastcompany.com on @kagi.com and the massive benefits of paid search!
- The Pebble smart watch was brilliant and I'm so happy it might be making a comeback! Also, it's pleasantly surprising to see that Google open-sourced the PebbleOS code.
- ** It's happening!! ** We managed to convince Google to open source PebbleOS. Took a while, but they just did it today! github.com/google/pebble With that, we're bringing Pebble back! I blogged about it - ericmigi.com/blog/why-wer...
- Great timing, lol
- One of these is not like the others 😆 @letterboxd.social

- @greggrosenthal.bsky.social @anthonyjeselnik.bsky.social I was listening to the latest JRVP and had to point you guys at hardcover.app which is trying to create a much better/modern version of Goodreads (which has really suffered under Amazon's ownership)
- The amount of user control provided by the AT Protocol, custom feeds, and moderation lists is what makes this attempt feel different and more resistant to the inevitable slide into toxicity and enshittification that has plagued prior social media platforms, and time will tell if that approach works.
- Here I am on Bluesky sharing what I wrote about Bluesky. It's easy to be a wonderful social network before the numbers get big, the VCs get hungry and the crowds get mean. I asked CEO Graber: Can Bluesky stay this way and become what all of us want? www.wired.com/story/plaint...

- I've been sharing this for years with fans of David Byrne and American Psycho because this is so stupidly well done and deserves 100x more views. A fantastic cover of "This Must Be The Place" by Miles Fisher youtu.be/G29d6RDSK1c
