- You're probably surrounded by wacky libertarians—that's the 'Free State Project,' right?
- I think the idea that Canada is American territory is mostly a meme—it’s just tongue-in-cheek.
- Tesla sales are crashing in Europe.
- It doesn’t seem very difficult to boycott Tesla products—first, I can’t afford them, and second, I have no interest in dealing with the fire hazard of a giant lithium-ion battery, which is essentially a potential thermal runaway disaster.

- Very cute.
- I'm really not a fan of Piers Morgan stacking the panel with three people just to debate one—Francesca Fiorentini. Feels pretty unfair. #PiersMorgan #FrancescaFiorentini #Debate [See: Piers Morgan Uncensored] #MediaBias #FairDebate #PanelStacking youtu.be/pde8y39pFBA?...

- You know, The boy that was killed in the staged assassin attempt….
- He still talks about the assassination attempt. He said it made him believe in God more. I have relatives who watch Trump all the time—trust me, he talks about it. Whenever I visit family, I'm turning off Fox News and putting on a Studio Ghibli movie.
- Not even trying to hide it…
- It's the Progressive Era in reverse. FDR and Woodrow Wilson pulled the same humbug. Maybe it'll become an American tradition to flip back and forth over the course of a century.
- Over 100 ICE agents spent 5 hrs in Chicago last week, arresting only 2. In Denver & Aurora, CO, over 400 agents were dispatched for migrant violence linked to Tren de Aragua. After knocking on hundreds of doors, only 1 member was arrested. (NYP, ABC News)
- The government is inefficient. I hope the U.S. moves toward less government—or at least less federal government—in favor of state governance. That way, social democrats could be happy in California with their undocumented immigrants, while Texas could be happy without illegal immigrants.

- I believe the USA should be united through division. I would prefer the country to be a collection of pretty much countries in a free trade agreement and military alliance. Both CalExit and TexExit seem quite appealing. I’d love for both conservatives and social democrats to find happiness.
- [Not loaded yet]
- I personally wish for social democrats to be happy, but I don’t want to be governed by them, nor do I want to govern them. I wish we could simply live in different countries with different goals.
- I personally <3 secession. I’m a big fan of a polycentric model mixed w/ a GitHub-style governance system, where ppl could easily "fork" to another governance project. While I also love the USA's blueprint, I <3 the idea of secession & more competing governments that appeal to more psychographics.
- Does “Golden Age” refer to a time when planes keep crashing, eggs cost $10–15 a dozen, the U.S. is being booed and protested by all our allies, workers are losing their jobs, and Americans’ personal data is being rummaged through by unelected oligarchs and their strange crew of 20-something incels?
- [Not loaded yet]
- The preferences of the social democrats will probably end up winning out. They appear to be the dominant force in the U.S. We'll likely get the Trump whatnot for four years, and that's it. I'm in neither camp, so I kind of want to move. I don't have much hope for the U.S.—I love it, but...

- The NFL is totally horribly ableist — employing so few disabled people.

- I didn’t know Trump was a racist. Where can I learn about why he’s considered one? How do you determine whether someone is a racist? Is it reasonable to assume that anyone who isn’t a social democrat or Marxist is probably a racist?
- Almost nobody likes racism, but having stenciling that says "End Racism" in the end zone is so mawkish and lame. It doesn’t resonate with the "dude's dude" psychographic; rather, it only appeals to bleeding-heart social democrats, Marxists, artsy types, and the like i.e. the NPR crowd.
- I love this. This should be the symbol of the new rebel coalition.
- Ideally, you’d want to minimize taxpayer expenses. To achieve this, you’d reduce the # of federal workers to the point where it lowers costs. If a federal program or job is popular, it’s likely that it could have been funded voluntarily—unless, of course, social democrats are all talk & no action.

- It looks like she's visiting a religious site, like Mecca or the Western Wall. It’s kind of like a weird, secular form of spirituality—I kind of like it. It’s fun to watch.
- Re-upping this. We need experts in media literacy & stewards of the freedom to read now more than ever.
- Not necessarily. Maybe a cool robot could replace the librarian—one that’s probably less judgmental about what you're reading.
- I guess if you wanted a government aid program like this, you'd need its cash flow to be conspicuously transparent, and its taxpayers would have had to explicitly vote for it. If it's effective or perceived as effective, then it's good soft power too. The USA is also heavily in debt so...

- Sin el engorroso gobierno, habría espacio y expectativa para que las asociaciones voluntarias abordaran las preocupaciones sobre el incendio. Además, probablemente no habrían gestionado mal el exceso de maleza que causó el incendio en primer lugar.

- I think we're mistaken. Elon Musk likely didn't do the Hitler salute. We should dislike him for more truthful reasons.
- I know Musk isn’t careful about what he reposts and such, but I don’t really understand the blind hate for the guy.

- That's another humourous ad absurdum hypothetical — it's enjoyable, but it's just some more political junk food that doesn't mean much.
- [Not loaded yet]
- This appears to be an ad absurdum meme that constructs a hypothetical false binary, framing one side as representing everything good & the other as embodying everything sensible people agree is bad. It’s political junk food, very much in the vein of The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters or John Oliver.

- The juxtaposition of that neo-fascist video with Elon's salute seems more convincing than comparing it to Hitler’s salute, which looks quite different. Perhaps (one could argue that) Elon is familiar with both salutes but uses the neo-fascist one as a dog whistle, allowing for plausible deniability.

- The font used for the tattoo is quite nice — do you know the font?

- I think the meme is quite accurate, and it's making fun of people like me.
- I have mostly libertarian leanings nowadays, and that's what I thought—minus the emotive whatnot. I also saw how actual Hitler did the salute versus Musk, and they appear quite different though.
- Would you consider a kooky liberal to be a centrist? I have political preferences, but I'm not certain about what works. I favor controlled experiments and a polycentric, preferably open-source, style of governance.
- For all the doubters, how are these not the same?
- [Not loaded yet]
- The clip of Hitler doing the salute versus Elon Musk's attempt shows notable differences. The famous clip of the guy in red could probably mislead centrist people like me more effectively.
