- Eighty years ago today, Canadian troops marched into Delft and liberated the city from five years of brutal occupation. This historic moment was commemorated with a festive procession to the market square—led by the Kelowna Pipe Band—speeches by the Mayor and Ambassador, and singing of “O Canada”.
