- i asked a colleague who got married in the past year if she remembered her wedding and she didn't, so I think you're onto something here.
- Today, we’re announcing the preview release of ty, an extremely fast type checker and language server for Python, written in Rust. In early testing, it's 10x, 50x, even 100x faster than existing type checkers. (We've seen >600x speed-ups over Mypy in some real-world projects.)

- I'm very excited that we are able to expand our team. These are great jobs for those that want to be active in AI/ML and data science in a research environment and work on problems that have real-world impact. Spread the word!

- And we’re off! Super thrilled to spend a few days with some amazing people and think about how to utilize LBGs
- While I'm grump about it, I have to give props to Microsoft Teams for having the nicest code box with language formatting experience of any chat client that I've used.

View full threadAh bummer RE: the paste button. I hadn't tried that yet. Also didn't know that Zulip supported mathjax! Heck yes! Is that something you need to enable on particular servers, or could I start including LaTeXed equations in my conda-forge Zulip questions right away? :P
- I think it's supported OOTB with zulip. You use math as the language in a fenced code block. Same as on GitHub these days.
- When your spouse is learning bioinformatics.
- 💯% *not* my experience! It only supports a handful of languages. The copy button messes up line breaks when you paste & the syntax highlighting is often broken. Zulip with its support of standard markdown plus mathjax is infinitely superior. IMHO :)
