- Nice afternoon at Forest Farm and the nearby river taff yesterday. Finally got my first dippers of the year (and first in Wales!) taking me to 174 year ticks. #birdingwales

- Amazing day on the Gower, found the Kittiwakes on Mumbles Pier. Plus a total of 14 seals along the coastal path to Caswell bay! #birdingwales
- Tried my luck with a last-minute trip up to Cwm Cadlan today to see if the recent Dotterel were still about. It was a success, with one female still remaining, bringing me to 172. It didn’t show off its orange belly, but I still got good views. A bonus male Wheatear too. #birdingwales
- Trip to Slimbridge yesterday got me 2 new lifers: An amazingly colourful Bluethroat and a distant male Garganey. Plus I got a House Martin year tick bringing me up to 171 for the year! Managed to also get amazing views of 11 Common Cranes (including a chick!). #ukbirding

- Really nice to see alpha support finally come to color inputs! Supporting all CSS colors in the value attribute is a nice change too.
- 🥳 We added new attributes to HTML to enhance <input type=color>: webkit.org/blog/16900/p...
- Played around with an early prototype for "actually usable multi-select" and it's so cool to see it finally happening. Builds on all the work of customisable single select but makes it work for listboxes and selecting multiple options.

- Reposted by LukeIt’s amazing how differently different browsers and screen reader combinations can behave. I was testing some custom checkboxes in a form and they behaved wildly differently with Chrome + VO, safari + VO and Firefox + NVDA. Remember to check as many browsers as possible, not everyone uses Chrome

- Reposted by LukeThe web platform has been missing an imperative way to let users of assistive technology know that something has changed on the page, when no DOM changes occurred. The Aria Notify API aims to bridge that gap. Try it out and let us know what you think!
- I've reached 165 birds for the year today. Heard my first Cuckoos, and found some terns. Bonus was a clear shot of a swallow and whitethroat. #ukbirding
- Reposted by LukeIf you write code to make websites (HTML, CSS, JS, Web API, Media) and you get frustrated trying to wrangle your code to work in Safari, which bugs are blocking you? Which existing features would you most like to see improved? If you got a chance to order priorities which effort would you put first?

- Reposted by LukeI take a deep dive into Interop 2025; why the project is there, how it picks what browser features to focus on each year, how well it's doing and what the big areas for this year are - a mix of cleaning up existing features and making sure new features arrive already interoperable

- There's two browser engines that run on windows and support contrast themes and they don't agree on what colours to render with... Another thing for the CSS forms spec to maybe help with?
