- Law firms WilmerHale, Jenner & Block sue Trump administration over executive orders. "The firms' lawsuits both said Trump's orders violate their rights under the U.S. Constitution and are meant to coerce lawyers and law firms to stop representing clients opposed to the administration."

- A friend shared this with me. Have we ruined essay writing and why it is worth saving because it teaches us how to think. "by essay-writing, we look not just for answers or solutions but aim to develop thinking through writing... Writing is a valuable learning outcome in itself."

- A fleeting thought but would it not make sense if journal editorial boards had a mix of practitioners and scholars? I never see this. But particularly for applied fields, practitioners could offer valuable direction on eg current issues affecting practice or offer feedback on relevance to practice.
