So... I'm gonna be a bit more blunt today in regards to AI usage in the TTRPG space.
The harder it is made for folks using AI to find acceptance and gain traction, the less of it we will see.
This means blocking them on Social Media, and reporting them on sites where they sell their trash.
I hate how widespread it is in the TTRPG community. You look up maps on Etsy and they used to be full of hand drawn layouts and now the whole front page is AI slop, and some of it will still market it as hand drawn as to deceive people, or only admit to it being AI in incredibly tiny font on the
bottom of their page. It’s really disgusting. Same with any Google Images searches of maps now.
Like fortunately there’s a lot of resources on Patreon and 2 Minute Tabletop and of course the solution is to make your own but sometimes my players decide to go somewhere I didn’t have a map for and at
