So... I'm gonna be a bit more blunt today in regards to AI usage in the TTRPG space.
The harder it is made for folks using AI to find acceptance and gain traction, the less of it we will see.
This means blocking them on Social Media, and reporting them on sites where they sell their trash.

But at this point I think the TTRPG space needs to make a focused effort to remove AI users.
I hate how widespread it is in the TTRPG community. You look up maps on Etsy and they used to be full of hand drawn layouts and now the whole front page is AI slop, and some of it will still market it as hand drawn as to deceive people, or only admit to it being AI in incredibly tiny font on the
bottom of their page. It’s really disgusting. Same with any Google Images searches of maps now.

They are easily the best about tagging their stuff, including tagging that they use AI.
Our show uses ZERO ai, but I’m always worried because one of our PCs has a third arm and it may make people wonder about our official artwork.
Hah! No, I wouldn't be concerned, at least not from me. I can see that there's some pretty clear intent in the art there, so even if the anatomy looks weird, it's *meant* to look like that.

So this is more for full-on genAI stuff and less like "a computer gave me this prompt and I built something around it" type stuff right?
It is largely individuals using Generative AI to create something, or using Generative AI and then tracing over to "make it theirs".
