- 15 of the 911 hijackers were Saudis. Just saying.
- You may want to rephrase this. Someone could interpret this as only 15 out of 911 hijacker’s were Saudis instead of the majority of the hijackers involved in 9/11 attacks were Saudis. Sure, most people will know but never underestimate the ignorance of Americans.
- Every Republican is in on it. Trump didn’t come up with this, Republican leaders did.
- The world is more divided than ever, but there’s still something (nearly) everyone agrees on: The US is unloved. Meanwhile, China keeps improving its global standing 👇 www.politico.eu/article/usa-...
- Sadly I feel the rise in Russia’s popularity is from Americans falling for right wrong propaganda.
- Merrick Garland is proof that accountability can die of natural causes.
- Garland was in on it. May he live in shame. He had four f’ing years to prosecute crimes that happened in broad daylight with hundreds of cameras recording it, and he failed the American people.
- The easiest way for a US president to avoid being impeached is to do 5 impeachable things a day.
- Haven’t you heard? If you do the crimes on camera and announce them to the world they aren’t crimes any longer 🙃
- Rumor has it that they’re deputized Proud Boys.
- "Nobody knows more about capitulating to China than I do."
- So close. Just missing an “of” in the title.
- Starmer's speech today was shameful from a Labour government: pandering, dishonest and inflammatory. To say "the damage this has done to our country is incalculable" is language no politician should use about migrants who have come to the UK and contributed to our economy and society.
-
View full threadThey're worse. A hugh majority in the UK Parliament gives far more power than the Democrats have. Starmer had the numbers and the political capital to do almost anything he wanted. And THIS is where he has gone. Dark Day.
- We had that experience with Obama. He had a choice and chose to bail out banks and hang homeowners out to dry. Many never forgave him for that and voted for Trump in 2016.
- Gen Xers, those who are born between 1965 and 1980, may have no place in the popular imagination but they really do suffer. This is true both because they are at a tricky age, and also because the cohort itself is cursed econ.st/43hmNgC
- Gen X, which in a member of, disproportionally voted for Trump more than any other generation. We really want America to be the great place it was for our parents but don’t understand how anything works, including democracy, and are willing to sell out to a conman for a handful of magic beans. 🫘
- Pam Bondi lobbied for Qatar & a private prison company, got paid $115K/month, then failed to disclose it during her AG confirmation. Now she’s gutted foreign lobbying enforcement under FARA and signed off on $400m planes. The corruption isn’t even subtle anymore.
- Who’s going to stop them? Republicans are all in on the scheme and democrats are off in the wilderness sending strongly worded letters.
