With the exception of GHWB, this really holds true for all R presidents since Nixon. R presidents are simply Oligarch puppets.

Two things:
1. Unlike many, I actually think it IS important to dwell on why Ds protected Biden too long
2. As for Trump's incoherence, most of the blame lies on the American people, who have become numb to his stupidity/vulgarity/mendacity. They shrug and move on. Media can't MAKE them care.
