- I suspect that this is true, and I also think it's one reason people choose the risk of higher-priced schools and the debt load that comes with it: they think they'll get a payout in prestige and connections. And when they don't? Ooops.
- As the one dude in the article said, it seems people are going to Ivies to meet a spouse and/or a business partner. Learning? Who needs it. nymag.com/intelligence...
- Especially as would be employers wise up to the scourge of people who made it through the Ivy via cheating and start finding ways to test/screen for that.

- A UofT Prof was telling me about some of the high-tech cheating going on among students. Not sure why kids today are so excited to not learn to think, reason and problem solve. I guess they figure AI will always have their backs so why bother.
