- Speaking of sleep, it ain’t free, but I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Better Sleep app from Ipnos. I lucked out with a lifetime subscription, but it’s absolutely worth monthly. Ignore the coaching and tracking and other privacy invading crap. You just want sound.

- History makes me anxious these days. … says the woman whose wife is a professional historian. 🙃
- They’ve got white noise, music, sounds, (nature, weather, animals, asmr, whatever), binaural beats, all sorts of stuff. They have sleeptales: gently narrated stories either paired with story-specific sounds or that you can play with your choice of sounds. And many of them are queer.
- Also, sleep meditations, pre-sleep exercises, and the like. But seriously. Queer sleep stories. It’s so nice.
- Finally reached breaking point last night. Contacted my old doc, who’s an authorized provider for my ins but does direct billing, so we have to request reimbursement. I have no energy for that, but she did send me instructions (so I don’t have to research).
- She’s not going to fuck with my old meds. She’s not going to try to reinvent the wheel. $225 is absolutely worth not having to fight for what I know works, even if I can’t get the refund to work.
- Just the thought I might be able to SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT is enough to make me cry all over again.
- All I do anymore is cry. 😞
- I couldn't even tell you why, really. My kids are depressed and disconsolate, they've each independently decided that they have no future. My future is work and bills until I die. I'm fine, I'm okay, I'm just... Not. Sigh.

- It was like magic. Pushback, obfuscation, then “wellll, can you come in on Friday to review the paper records?” “No. That morning, we have a meeting with finance and legal.” “Oh. Uh! Okay! Well, let me see what I can do okay thanks bye!!!”
- So, can you get access to Matrix??
- I’ll bet we can once they read the cut-and-paste I got from www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-pr... where it says if the provider keeps electronic records, we can request those records. Also I used the “l” word today, and everything changed. lol.
