John Brown stan account
Radical liberal. Aspiring re-education camp counselor.
Look down the game tree. What's at the end of all those off-equilibrium paths?
- "We just need to triangulate harder" is a maddening position to read when Republicans are consistently rewarded for doing things that would have been considered career-ending even 10 years ago.
- The hubris of thinking you know what *really* appeals to voters. Like shut the fuck up please.
- Anyway, one thing I've noticed about the electeds who have managed to hold difficult seats by running 5-6 points ahead of a Dem president is that they hold an eclectic mix of positions. They are never Moderate Candidate Mk4 from the politician factory with perfectly poll-tested opinions.
- I voted for John Ewing before it was cool (in the 2012 NE-2 race)
- It is astounding to me how many people are trying to equate TALKING TO COPS as a form of civil disobedience. Like, what are we doing here?

View full threadNo. The argument is that you are massively increasing your legal risk *for no actual benefit*. The difference was Rosa Parks was she was deliberately protesting an injustice. If Piker wanted to *protest* unlawful border detainments there are ways to do that WHICH DO NOT INVOLVE TALKING TO THE COPS.
- Never back down from an argument, I guess
- It seems that, conservatively, 98% of people cannot separate "I don't like that person" from "I disagree with that person's claim".
- Not to beat a dead horse, but "It's not corruption unless there's an explicit quid pro quo" should tell you everything you need to know about the state of the New York Times
