Look down the game tree. What's at the end of all those off-equilibrium paths?
- "We just need to triangulate harder" is a maddening position to read when Republicans are consistently rewarded for doing things that would have been considered career-ending even 10 years ago.

- I think the main takeaway here is that almost every tech CEO is a self-important little pervert who should not be allowed to make business decisions.
- It seems that, conservatively, 98% of people cannot separate "I don't like that person" from "I disagree with that person's claim".
- Reconstruction southerners be like "I hate these Yankees, coming down here, helping black people vote and building an economy not based chattel slavery"
- I really hate the idea of a "carpetbagger" in politics. Two reasons: 1) Nothing wrong with being a transplant! 2) The carpetbaggers were the good guys in the Reconstruction south.
