Grapefruit sorbet is surprisingly good.
Basil sorbet was not.
I’m still not sure how I feel about balsamic vinegar ice cream, that might have been too niche.
Pickles were a hard nope.
I didn’t try blue cheese, but I imagine a Roquefort would do well with pears? Maybe a little Gewürztraminer?

I’m not a massive fan of basil, so that was just not working for me. I tried to do a basil, a tomato, and a balsamic for a caprese sundae, and decided that savory ice cream really just isn’t my jam 😅
