- Polygon was a great constant to have over the years, they did a lot of quality work and held themselves to a really high standard. Very frustrating to see sharp people with solid, institutional knowledge get tossed out like this.
- Getting a job in games media seemed almost unattainable when I broke in back in 2005. In the years since, it’s become almost impossible and ultimately inadvisable. I can’t imagine trying to break in today. Independent is pretty much the only option now. Support your favorite creators directly.

- Interesting that if you shop at Whole Foods, a lot of money is spent making it feel like a place that respects workers and embraces progressive values, but it is not. Costco just feels like a warehouse but they treat their workers pretty well and has rejected anti-DEI BS
