Being anti gerontocracy is the silliest ideology. Class not age is responsible for the monsters running the show.
The Dems saw that David Hogg was anti-gerontocracy and said his PAC might primary currently seated Dems (something a majority of Dem voters agree on rn) and they said "Fuck off forever" almost immediately, and got rid of him in a way almost custom designed to lose voters and empower the right lol.
It is bad when the people in charge of things are so old that they are, in practice, unable to do their job or think clearly, or become catspaws for staffers, aides, lobbyists, etc. it exacerbates the host of social and political problems we have.
Why do i want them to do their jobs? Their jobs are exploiting the masses while claiming to be progressive. Thats bad
I think you got this wrong, the issue is that democrats aren't doing anything. Sure class is definitely a massive factor but the real issue is the old farts currently in charge are actively blocking any change and they are not doing anything to help people. At least younger people might try.
