Never butcher your own writing or relinquish your own voice to put your name on the dead-eyed, mechanical hallucinations of a bunch of 1s and 0s. People who know good writing and AI have no trouble recognizing AI-generated garbage.
- Way to call me out on my overuse of "apparently". 33 times! But I found a few that I could get rid of, so that's good. Here's one I'll keep.
- I lean discovery writer. I try to outline, but I can't get my head around the story unless I'm in it with the characters. So instead I do discovery writing, with the knowledge that a lot will get cut. Then I make an outline of my draft and tweak the story, write a new draft, repeat until it's right.
