Stuff like this is a big reason why I find edtech ai boosters so egregiously aggravating. We’ve had decades of research that shows how technological systems reinscribe discrimination yet folks happily hop on to the next tech bandwagon with little or no reflection.

Because it doesn’t know what writing is! It doesn’t “know” what anything is! It’s not artificial intelligence because it literally doesn’t have INTELLECT! It’s a frick’n overblown calculator that only computes and rehashes information YOU feed it! Oh my god why can’t people get this?!!
