- This is part of why the US is now a pariah as far as tourism. Who the hell wants to get busted because some dork decides you don’t look manly or womanly enough. This is crap and the US is a mess.

- Sadly, it is actually useful to be able to talk at a level that doesn't intimidate people. I can talk redneck and fit in. I just drop a lot of vocabulary and revert back to working on the railway or on the factory floor. In an academic or high level IT group, I make adjustments. Zelig.
