- With the regatta invitations rolling in I'm looking forward to umpiring at three courses new to me this year: EUROW regatta in Linz (AUT), Sarnen regatta on the Sarnersee (SUI) and HIRBS in Loughros, County Donegal (IRL).
- Best of luck to the WestMids RRC awards winners for the overall winners at today's British Rowing award lunch: Birmingham RC and UoB's Helen Gilbody and Ross's Sally Pettipher.
- Unless you follow the minutiae of the British Rowing website, you might have missed yesterday's announcement which will almost certainly put £1 per seat on entry fees this summer. This was done without any consultation with the clubs or regions at all.
