- I just found a book that I read over and over in childhood but couldn’t find as an adult. This was because: I couldn’t remember the title, didn’t know the author, didn’t know the publisher or what year it was published, and was mis-remembering that it was in black and white but it was color photos.

- of course I don't use AI for my work, AI could never do what I do* *spill a half gallon of paint in my studio floor, accidentally chisel off half a fingernail, and build a jig to cut my entire order of wood 1/2" off.

- We definitely made a miscalculation when it came to how long reduction cooling would take for this firing. I offered to stay up an extra hour or two, and sent everyone home. It’s now nearly 4am. I’ve been on shift since 4pm. 😭

- We’ve finished all 3 body reduction for the firing. A body reduction is where you starve the kiln of oxygen while the clay bodies are still porous - a specific temperature range. It lets you turn red iron oxide into black iron oxide, giving you richer colors. Also. You get ridiculous flames.

- I recommended Blue Prince to a friend, who loves puzzle adventure games, but doesn’t get as much game time nowadays due to a toddler daughter. He worked around this by convincing her it’s about exploring a doll house. Apparently, she’s now been demanding they play the “House Game” every night!
