- 100%. And I agree — just a fair trade. I think people expect to only have lopsided wins, when that’s not how you get deals done in fantasy. Thanks for listening, man. Hope you’ve been well!

- Lol, I’m glad Danny and I could talk about it last week!

- Neither player is in my database because they weren't combine invites or drafted. But I would not use Ekeler as someone to compare anyone to -- he's a literal outlier.
- Really enjoyed my conversation with @4whomjbelltolls.bsky.social on today's Late-Round Perspectives. We talk about rookie drafts, players we're high and low on, various backfields across the league, and so much more. Listen: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t... Watch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAM8...

- Not sure what this is in reference to but hit up either the thread next week when I ask for questions or email podcast @ late round dot com with some more detail and I’ll get to it because I don’t agree
- A Pope from Chicago? Rome Odunze definitely breaking out this year.
- The pope’s been on the clock for an hour, can someone ping him?
- Talking about @lateroundqb.bsky.social’s trade newsletter blast and this is the most accurate sentence ever typed. www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/...

View full threadI really like egbuka and think he will be good. However, Tampa just extended godwin and has made it clear they’ll do everything in their power to keep the evans streak going. Rome had about 750 yards, what are you hoping out of egbuka this year? I’d be thrilled with 750….
- What are you expecting from Odunze in 2025?
- I’m not hating. Like both players, just don’t totally understand the logic in the newsletter. You cited odunze’s mid production, but I’m struggling to see how egbuka will do any better this year. Just sounds like you’ll be in the same spot with egbuka next year?
- Why are we assuming Egbuka can't be good? The "mid" production is also related to Odunze's peripherals, not just his PPG mark. And his team added first- and second-round pass-catchers post-Year 1! It's weird to me that this is getting the push back it's getting.
- People are *hating* the Odunze deal.
- I talk through my post-draft rookie rankings on today's Late-Round Podcast episode podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...
- Heading out for a post-draft long weekend trip, but, before I go, know that there's a rewind episode in the Late-Round Podcast feed on what I like to call "the pocket passer trap." Give it a listen! Have a great weekend, folks. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

- I'm saying to worry about the team needs after you're done drafting. Trade away assets -- don't tier down in a rookie draft because of the need.
- I draft for value in rookie drafts and trade for need. Burden is the better prospect IMO.
- Sean McVay has a type. But Jarquez Hunter had a lot more burst than Kyren and Corum coming out. - Reception Share: Best-season mark in college - Breakout Score: Schedule- and age-adjusted receiving yards per team pass attempt - Career explosive run rate courtesy of PFF

- Haha. He was my favorite sleeper pre-draft, and just so happen to find the perfect landing spot.
- Sending a newsletter out soon that includes my favorite rookie draft dart throws. You can subscribe to it for absolutely free by heading to LateRound.com.
- Each year after the draft, I try to read between the lines to see what teams were thinking when they made the choices they made. That's what I did for today's Late-Round Podcast episode. Give it a listen: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/9...
- Round 2 running backs since 2011 with a 105+ Speed Score and a best-season total yards per team play rate above 2.0: - Derrick Henry - Joe Mixon - Nick Chubb - AJ Dillon - JK Dobbins - Jonathan Taylor - Breece Hall - Kenneth Walker -> RJ Harvey

- I’m just sharing information. I don’t have some agenda
- Something kind of interesting about this list: When you compare big board data to actual draft capital, the only player who was looked at as more of a "reach" than Harvey was AJ Dillon.
- When you barely sleep for three days so that your nerdy pals can dominate their rookie drafts 🫡
- Prospect guide will be later than anticipated because the 49ers decided to draft JUNIOR BERGEN in Round 7, a guy I definitely have heard of before

- Phil Mafah and Jaydon Blue in the Cowboys backfield
- Do the Buccaneers understand that they do not have to draft slot receivers?
- The Browns quarterback room only includes quarterbacks you could make a documentary of
- Shedeur Sanders getting drafted
- Jalen Royals top comp in the ZAP Model: Rashee Rice
- Sampson's fine, but I would've liked to see the Browns get someone like Brashard Smith to pair with Judkins.
- Arian Smith and Chimere Dike had big board rankings on NFL Mock Draft Database that were well past Pick 200.
- I'VE LOST MY PANTS
- Been working non-stop on updates to the Late-Round Prospect Guide. For anyone who purchased, you'll be getting the post-draft version later tonight. For anyone who hasn't, you can still get the pre-draft version now AND the post-draft one later. LateRound.com for more.
- Check out this Kaleb Johnson jersey swap I just did
- I liked Pat Bryant and Isaac TeSlaa during the prospecting process, but I'm shocked they went as high as they did. I started analyzing NFL Mock Draft Database data this offseason, and, based on that data, they're coming in as two of the bigger reaches at WR since 2016.
- Good for Jack Bech, man. Hope he balls out for Vegas.
- Here I am, setting up to work on a Friday night, irrationally excited for what's about to happen. I will never not feel incredibly lucky to do this for a living. Greatest job in the world. Thank you guys.

- I'm not saying he's replacing Godwin. I'm just noting that they're teammates and they likely have a type.
- Oh, cool, another Colts pass-catcher to get wide open and not see the ball
