- I would be very surprised if Puka Nacua can finish as a top-5 fantasy WR while Davante Adams also finishes as a top-20 fantasy WR.
- The Patriots now have a TreVeyon and Trayveon in the same backfield who specialize in passing downs.
- Just finished writing Chuba Hubbard's player profile. Came out of it fine on his value, but how cool is his story. Each year after being drafted, the team brings someone in with the intentions of taking Hubbard's spot on the depth chart, and yet he kept finding a way, and then got the big extension

- A lot of my player profiles this week are on the RBs ranked around RB11-RB20. It feels like a big part of ranking them is just figuring out the odds they could get benched this season.

- I think Breece Hall should get traded to the Washington Commanders. Hall would be a better fit for that offense.
- More 9:30 AM eastern kickoffs this year, and I'm guessing at some point in the near future there will be even more. So much for the pre-game shows on Sundays.
- Spent part of today writing player profiles on Jalen Hurts, Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes. Don't think my opinion changed on any of the 3. They remain QBs 4, 5 and 6 in that order for me.
- Jayden Reed is already taken off the field for all of the 2 WR sets. If he got warn down from taking hits, the only way to ease those hits is get him the ball less often. He was a top-24 fantasy WR in 4 of 17 games last season.

- Rewatching Klint Kubiak's initial press conference with the Seahawks. Amusing that the first two players he mentions are Geno Smith and D.K. Metcalf
- Over the last 6 years, only one Rams running back was the highest drafted by ADP that year, and his fantasy points per game ranked higher than his consensus ADP rank. That was Darrell Henderson in 2021, where his ADP was RB26 and he finished 22nd in PPR PPG.

- I've moved Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed and Alvin Kamara down my rankings a little bit each with Derek Carr's retirement.
- My initial rankings update will put Shough around QB29 in redraft. I think he will have more rushing upside than a lot of the QBs in the 20's or high 10's, but his odds of not starting during various points of the season are also higher, if it's Rattler or some other veteran.
- Has there been a single piece of NFL breaking news that has occurred during normal working hours this offseason?

- Sad to see a players career end due to injury, but congrats on Derek Carr for going from a 2nd round QB and becoming an 11-year starter with over 40k career passing yards
