- I wish people would also stop calling art content. It’s a really weird word to use to describe an artistic endeavor. It’s like what a shareholder would want us to call a movie or television. For games there is more contextual justification for using that word since it requires active participation
- Content can be anything. A bunch of wet cement in a cement mixer is the content of the cement mixer. But filmmakers, showrunners, painters, sculptors, stained glass windowmakers, authors, and even spraypainters aren’t making wet cement.

- This video really highlights the entitlement of fandoms, how a fans come to believe they can claim ownership of a property, even over the author, and the best arbiters over how it should be further developed. The ironic ancillary to this is that said fans are usually the worst people for the job

- I admit this video's title put me off at first, but I'm glad I watched it. I love the irony in JJ, RJ and co. coming with the attitude of taking it back from George Lucas, just to have fans turn on them and Lucas' work starts to be reappraised.
