I wish people would also stop calling art content. It’s a really weird word to use to describe an artistic endeavor. It’s like what a shareholder would want us to call a movie or television. For games there is more contextual justification for using that word since it requires active participation
Content can be anything. A bunch of wet cement in a cement mixer is the content of the cement mixer. But filmmakers, showrunners, painters, sculptors, stained glass windowmakers, authors, and even spraypainters aren’t making wet cement.
