- There were some decent shows: St Elsewhere, Miami Vice. But they still looked and felt like TV dramas. TP operated on its own plane of existence. The world opened up that Thursday night. I’m still chasing that high.
- Wish I had a time machine to go back to that night it premiered so I could relive that wonderful awe I felt watching it. I couldn't believe something like Twin Peaks was on network television. "Groundbreaking" gets thrown around a lot but it really is the only descriptor that applies here.
