- This was the story I told to a close friend who is dealing with her elderly father’s declining heath and his severe UTI which creates cognitive problems. Sharing this story was my comfort to her in a difficult time. Because she is my friend, it worked to provide that.
- Thankfully I had produced enough urine that I still had enough left after that. (This means that I had nearly filled the jar. Enough to the point where even with all of that spilling I still had enough left for a sample.)
- I ended up going into my dr's appointment with my own piss all over my purse and all over me from when I was carrying the purse
- Apparently the jar was not waterproof
- I peed in a jar, put it in my purse, and brought it with me.
- I had a brilliant idea that I would just pee at home before the appointment so there there wouldn't be an issue and I could actually attend my scheduled dr's appointment

- For sure. I meant more from the current clinical interpretation I've encountered. I've seen a disconnect between therapeutic and domestic survivor groups in my work, and from prior personal experience of receiving help from. The term has become so ubiquitous since 2015 it's lost all meaning
- Really feel that the definition of gaslighting falls short and should require an element of intent in order for it to be considered so. Also believe that there has to be some kind of power differential at play. It's a weapon of abuse and as such (in my opinion!) these are necessary components
