One time when I was pregnant I had to give a urine sample.
I get really bad stage fright and sometimes it can take me hours to pee even when I have to if someone is expecting it.
Apr 16, 2025 23:41I had a brilliant idea that I would just pee at home before the appointment so there there wouldn't be an issue and I could actually attend my scheduled dr's appointment
I peed in a jar, put it in my purse, and brought it with me.
Apparently the jar was not waterproof
I ended up going into my dr's appointment with my own piss all over my purse and all over me from when I was carrying the purse
Thankfully I had produced enough urine that I still had enough left after that.
(This means that I had nearly filled the jar.
Enough to the point where even with all of that spilling I still had enough left for a sample.)
This was the story I told to a close friend who is dealing with her elderly father’s declining heath and his severe UTI which creates cognitive problems.
Sharing this story was my comfort to her in a difficult time.
Because she is my friend, it worked to provide that.
