Actively hire more Black and Brown people in publishing.

- Readers will often skip prologues and ephemera (journal entries, song lyrics, footnotes) They’ll also sometimes skip epilogues, denouements, and scenes they think don’t matter (intimacy, fights, chases) And some just skip entire POVs and chapters Edit accordingly, I guess #writingtips

- The first plane hit ~2 hours before school started on the west coast. I found out on the bus. Every television in my high school of ~1200 kids was showing the news, replaying footage they had and any new footage as it came in, and I don't remember anyone turning them off the entire day.
