Ex-politics, retail, games, tokusatsu. Just some guy, I guess?
- Recent Dragon Quests have a bit of this. Personally it's always so hard for me to get back into the flow my campaign is always for "New Game+ from any save at any point" so I can just replay the story without losing anything miscellany I spent time grinding for
- As someone who does customer orders at a large retailer where a lot of stuff is made in China... A lot of new product launches are delayed (only a little for now) and a lot of special order items go "temporarily out of stock" but few price increases because they're expecting this to be temporary
- I hear rumors the Vietnam sourcing office is trying to rapidly spin up a lot of finishing factories for 99% made in China components, but everyone has the same idea and there's only so much capacity so that's not going great
- So aside from the general shut up principle, lawyers correct me if I'm wrong, but if you make a factual statement it directly opens that topic up to dispute, giving them grounds (not necessarily /sufficient/ grounds for action, but) to, say, request records they say they believe will disprove it
- Or I guess I feel you're ceding a relevance argument. If at a traffic stop they ask "do you own an illegal number of weasels?" You say "That's an absurd question. I don't have to answer it". If they stop you and you open with "I have a normal number of weasels!", they're probably getting a warrant.
- With as often as I eat at Taco Bell on lunch (2/week on average) I am a regular watcher of the fine theatrical experience that is "Boomer goes incandescent with rage at the idea of an ordering kiosk" but today's, adult children's pleas met with "No! I want a PERSON to SERVE me!", is just perfect
- Like. We knew, but you really are just saying that with your whole chest, aren't you ma'am
