When you can't get a GP appointment or you have to wait months/years for a referral then yes, I know this is hard for some people to hear, it does make it more likely that you will buy into the idea that migrants are taking up time and resources. 3/
Yes people could do research, but they don't, especially when they don't think they need to because they "know" what is happening courtesy of a constant refrain of "blame immigration" from politicians and the media. Never mind that without migrants there would be no NHS. 4/
People are seeing the cost of living spiralling out of control and keep being told migrants are "taking all the jobs and all the benefits". When you can't afford the rent, bills, food, you aren't going to question that. Never mind that most migrants cannot receive pretty much any state support. 5/
It isn't migration which has caused high streets to all but shut down. It isn't migration which has left sectors such as manufacturing on their knees. It isn't migration which has failed so many people in this country. It is successive governments, including Labour. 6/
