I’m a 63yo southern white woman. Haven’t shopped there since January. Still often think, “I can stop by Target to get [whatever].” I’ll confess to feeling a pang when I remind myself, “No, you can’t.” So I don’t stop by and give them my $. Only a drop of resistance but hopefully, every drop counts?

Middle aged white guy here, closed my Target card and have refused to shop there since. I stick to shopping with places I’ve vetted using goods unite us. Even if they return to previous policy, the damage is done and they showed their true colors. Won’t get another dime from me ever again.

I used to shop at Target until they aligned themselves with Natzis. No DEI. No money from me.

I haven't been there in months. Somehow, my life goes on and I get the things I need from better companies.

Another old white lady here who isn’t falling for tokenism. Target taught us that they were a semi-progressive choice for years with Pride gear, support of Black companies and adaptive/inclusive clothing and ads. They abandoned US, and that includes people who look like me. Standing with you!

The funniest part of all this is that conservatives have been boycotting Target for years because they refused to check people's genitals to make sure they were using the correct restrooms. Target screwed themselves with their most recent decision.

It’s not just that target ended DEI in hiring practices, Target pulled products made by Black owned businesses off the shelves, products that had been sold at Target for years. I closed my account & have not shopped there since 11/2024 & never will again.
