That would require critical thinking, of which they are incapable. There’s no growth here, it’s only because people of the church are denouncing them. They’ll go back to falling in line just enough to be considered “Good Christians” again, but inside the ugly will still remain.
Pretty incredible to watch the MAGA movement collectively realize that their ideological worldview, aside from abortion, is entirely antithetical to the teachings of Catholicism.
