- Reminder: Sen @blumenthal.senate.gov (D-CT) is behind several of the most homophobic bills that have passed the Senate in the last several decades. #KOSA is no exception, and his coauthor explicitly said she intends the bill to be used to censor queer people. Call your senators and tell them NO.
- By the way, any guesses on how @warren.senate.gov voted on KOSA? 🙃 Not only did she vote for it, but she added her name as a cosponsor a few weeks AFTER Blackburn said that her goal for the bill was to prosecute and target queer people.
- Elizabeth Warren has somehow obtained a reputation of being a progressive LGBTQ+ "ally". I say "obtained" because the reputation is completely unearned - her actions in the Senate paint a consistent picture of a decisively anti-sex work and anti-queer centrist Democrat, not a progressive ally.
- Does literally anyone except startup founders want an everything app? Like a single person anywhere? Who are these for?

- cocaine is one hell of a drug
- Just for reference $29.95 is the equivalent of $176.35 in 2025 dollars. They were selling this for $176.35 in 2025 dollars.
- you'll pay more than that these days for good head! (or a good bong!)
- BG3 update: my massive bear boyfriend is protesting a little bit too much that it’s very cool and fine that I fucked a demon
- @furioursus.dev if I meet a twink off Grindr
- Andor is a very good star war but can we stop pretending a tv show made by a BDS-targeted megacorp has anything meaningful to say about genocide ? idk i worry some folks forget that these are entertainment products designed to fill a consumer need
- Sidenote: book publication timelines mean that X-Men's Fall of Krakoa (published 2023-2024) reads as an extremely heavy allegory for Gaza, even though most of it was written before 10/7, and Disney/Marvel would likely have censored it if it had been written even just a few months later
- It ends up being this weird interplay between art and real life caused by the serendipity of the timing, which could never have happened if it had been more intentional (at least certainly not under Disney)
- And to be clear, you don't need to have a lawyer to assert your rights. Saying "I will not answer any questions without my lawyer present" will make things 1000x easier for the lawyer who eventually represents you (possibly an appointed public defender). You don't need to have a lawyer already!
