- THE SHINING (1977) - the 1st time you read this, it’s great, but over the years and many reads later you realize it’s not that great. Excellent writing, but weak plotting, limited spaces (which is the point) all build, no real ending and little real suspense. Danny knows too much and so do we.

- Not to complain, but I have a decent job now where I have enough work for about, maybe, 2hrs out of the day and spend the 6hrs after waiting to go home, and it’s a job I could easily do from home - it’s more exhausting than if I was actually busy all day.
