Shout out to the disabled community for always showing up, always being on the right side of history and justice, always willing to put their bodies on the line, all for the cause of making sure *everyone* has the basic dignity of health care.- I know some disabled Trump supporters who are on disability who could learn a lot from these brave souls. - RESULT: Omaha's Republican Mayor Jean Stothert just lost to her Democratic challenger John Ewing. Stothert, who was running for a fourth term, resorted to anti-trans ads and messaging around who uses bathrooms in the final stretch of the campaign. Ewing will be Omaha's first Black mayor.

- The Ag Committee's part of the Reconciliation Bill raises the SNAP work requirement age for able-bodied adults without dependents from 54 to 64. It also changes the definition of "dependent child" from under 18 years to under 7 years old to determine "Able-bodied adult without dependents."
