- I am a firm believer that if you commission something to use for social media you NEED to be tagging the artist you commissioned from. It is a piece they made specifically for YOU!

View full threadBut for commissions, specifically cosplay commissions, if you arent tagging the artist... One it looks like youre claiming the work is yours effectively lying to your audience And two you arent doing your part to help your community thrive.
- Those artists being commissioned are soooo excited to see their work loved. Its really not hard to tag them.
- If you buy a random thing off lets say etsy i wouldnt say tagging the store is necessary but hey it sure is nice! If you like the piece wouldnt you want to help support the artist with getting them business?

- It's definitely hard! I can completely understand your pov where you are anxious about disappointment! I worry about that all the time with my art 🥲 i think its why i always struggle saying something cause i never know whats really going on and im always afraid to hurt someone accidentally

- Thats fair! I do generally try to do this at the beginning by using a piece of theirs to show what i want but eh things get mixed sometimes i guess but i really appreciate your help, i will try my best to use it 🙏❤️
