As a person who gotten literally more than a hundred art commissions done there is such a sting when you pay a-lot of money for a great artist with amazing examples and the finished commission is just so obviously lacking in care?

This is why I (as an artist) send over wips constantly for overview. I’d rather pivot early if I’m not on the right path

Yes! And i love that! And its usually neverrrrrr people who do this that struggle with

I kinda do it as standard. I’ve seen some artists charge more for it, which I get. I’ve had lovely people micromanage to hell and back and that wasn’t fun either. Sorry to hear about your experience though, that’s insanely frustrating
