hey all — you know what i do for a living; please consider getting yourselves some xylazine testing strips if you are using anything potentially adulterated with fentanyl (regardless of route you’re using); i’m seeing an uptick in what are likely tranq wounds/issues in even people smoking stimulants

xylazine has long been an adulterant in fentanyl & it isn’t a stretch to figure out if fentanyl is in nearly everything, we’ll be seeing xylazine as well & wounds are relative to how the medication works
they don’t heal quickly or easily either
xylazine is a hypotensive & a peripheral vasoconstrictor which fucks with normal perfusion of oxygenated blood to the skin & extremities
it *can* get bad & it can also be caught early where decent wound care can help a good amount
