(He/him) Dem politics, sci-fi, law, humor
- There is not a single congressional district in the U.S. where more than 15% of voters support cuts to Medicaid.
- So weird to me that the highest support is where cutting it would hurt the most.
- It's amazing how DOGE is probably going to end up costing the government billions if not trillions of dollars and end up saving nothing.
- Update: @DOGE removes 31 more incorrect claims -- and $122M in savings -- from its "Wall of Receipts" after we identified they were wrong. The listings were wrong b/c the contracts DOGE claimed credit for killing were not dead anymore: agencies had revived them. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/13/u...
- Not amazing at all. Entirely predictable. Do these people understand cost/benefit?
- To be clear, I think if you can't acknowledge the possibility the crippling of American society and total, permanent death of the empire is not in some way the fault of Liberals to communicate a meaningful vision of their imagined society, you are unfit for the present moment in history.
- Washington rules are that only Dems have agency. But yeah these people are hyperventilating over the wrong opponent.
- Because they’re wet bitches lol
- Two things I hold simultaneously: on the one hand, Democrats absolutely need to be honest about what compromises it’d take to win competitive Senate elections in Red states. OTOH, Senate apportionment is increasingly incompatible with sustaining the republic and most be addressed directly.

- Art V says “no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.” Senate power can be reduced.
