- They live in holes and wander around at night, especially if it’s damp. They’re harmless if you leave them alone. If they end up someplace they shouldn’t be I just scoop them into a container and move them. Spiders don’t bother me, but we have these huge long beetles here that I Do Not Like.

- Pronghorns visited today. That white wire fence is our property line and I was able to get pretty close. They did see me and poofed up their butt hair (third picture), but just moved off at a trot. They’re so neat. I love seeing them.
- Brett is working on the cabin skirting and Cope was watching him. Copes brother is Marsh, his sire was Huxley, uncle Linnaeus, and grandsire Darwin. Are you sensing a theme?

- On my long ago bad place account I used to do a thing call Jess is Ridiculously Spoiled whenever we got a toy shipment in. (We live in the nowhere, packages go to the UPS store, so we get a bunch of stuff at once.) Well. Today was a BigBad Pile O’Loot, a big metal build, and threezero ROTF Nemesis.
- A lot of sharp bits and my fingers are now hurting so I’m done. That little phalange sticking up from the bicep is going to get chopped off. It impedes the swivel towards the chest; I had to partially pull his arm out of the socket to get his fist up to his face for the sitting pose.

- They come with a little light unit that goes in the abdomen. You tilt them to make it come on and it goes off by itself after a minute or so.
