- Please read this thread and remember one other thing... If you've seen many courtroom dramas, you've probably seen that scene where a defendant wants to defend himself and the judge ALWAYS says that's a terrible idea. That's what you're doing when you talk to the cops.
- The Miranda warning says that anything you say can and will be used against you, it doesn't mention anything, whatsoever, about anything you say being used to *exonerate* you in court. You literally cannot possibly talk yourself out of guilt, only ever into it.
