- I once worked with a guy who was booted from several projects and ultimately fired from our company for being completely worthless. He was, honestly, the dumbest professional colleague I've ever had. He got another contract gig at Starbucks but was fired within six months.
- He signed up to be a cop but failed their entrance exam, so he decided to work for border patrol instead! Now he's a cop on the peninsula. Aside: this man once knowingly dropped off his partner's child at day care with a soiled diaper because he freaked out and couldn't manage it.

- Makes me think of when my former employer flew eight of us to Hong Kong in 2016 for what ended up being about four hours of meetings with no tangible benefits. My airline ticket was >$10K so I assume the whole trip cost north of $100K for zero benefit to either side.
- Get yourself a partner who, when finding out you “did the deed” during your first experience with a guy, blurts out “let me see your butthole!” and follows that up immediately with a lament about not thinking to get before-and-after pics. She continues to be the funniest person I’ve ever known.
