- Book update! My first novel, Sky to Sea, is coming out in May. Proofreads done. Cover ordered. This has been a long time coming. I landed an agent for S2S back in 2017. Died on submission. Drastic rewrites. Slush-pile hell 2.0. Now I'm finally ready to go indie ⚔️ (Artist: Oliver Denker)
- I have 959 followers. I'm okay with that. The big numbers mean little to me. If I inform one person of something important, or brighten someone's day, that is good enough for me.

- Rejection is not a personal slight or attack. Slush readers and editors know what works for their specific magazine/imprint/individual taste. Just because your work doesn't speak to them (whether they read a few paragraphs or the entire thing) doesn't mean it's bad. Just means it's not for them.
