- I would be interested to see a study that compared the number of clergymen in the US who've been convicted or credibly accused of sex crimes in recent years to the number of MS-13 members in the US (which I've seen estimated at under 10,000).

- It brings me no pleasure to point out that at the Constitutional Convention James Madison clearly stated that he wanted a carve out for “emoluments that fly.” He would have been totally fine with this. He also said in Federalist 88 that Presidents can sell as many meme coins as they want.

- Interesting thread. It made me think about how one longstanding problem for the Democratic Party since the 1980s has been its passive reliance on “the moral arc of the universe” to take us into a more just future…as if history was just naturally on “our side.” But moral arcs don’t bend themselves.
